This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. I absolutely Love this smart looking ceiling fan! The light has two settings and the fan has four. When the fan is on high it is very quiet and is so effective I only need my air conditioning on very hot days.
