This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. We went with the 62”’for our back patio. The size is a good fit for the size of the patio. We did have to purchase a longer pole because the one it came with was too short for the height.
