This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. This 48 inch tropical leaf blade fan is absolutely beautiful and adds elegance and style to any room, especially an outdoor covered porch. Installation was a little tricky but not as hard as I expected. The quality and crafmanship for the design is outstanding. The remote control is easy to use and provides you with multiple speed options as well as direction of air flow. The ceiling fan also has a light which provides the perfect amount of Illumination for any room. The remote also has a timer on it for those people that are slightly forgetful.
