My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. Great water delivery. Previous toilet had multiple holes which hard water build up decreased water released into stool when toilet was flushed. Toilet would not fully flush unless we dumped excess water into stool. This design will never have this issue. We will save a lot of water with this change out.. Kjfisher. South Dakota.
