It does not fit snug into the table. It really should be made out of durable rubber or come with a 2 piece, snap together design. I needed a 36" wide table for my apartment. Furniture stores in Pa did not carry such a narrow width. Wayfair stepped up and sold me this 7 piece dining set and I was leary of the quality. The table and chairs are solid, have a beautiful microfabric on seats, and the wood on the set is absolutely beautiful. I stood in awe at how gorgeous this set is. My husband is putting this together right now. The chairs are sturdy! The color is exactly as described... except, the seat cushions in the picture are more of a beige or tan but the ones delivered are deep coffee. No where in the description does it say the color of the micro fabric so I went with the color in the picture. While it does match my motif, I would have preferred the lighter color. This table and chairs are extremely sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all. The material is of great quality and you can tell it will last us a long time. The bench was delivered with a deep scratch on it, but I uploaded my complaint with pics on the contact us page and they sent me a new bench within a week no other questions asked which was amazing. I give it 4 stars because the wood finish is like a magnet for fuzz and dust. It must have a static cling within the finish used. You can also see faint scratches in the right lighting which I don’t know if that’s a result of our use from it already from our dishes or if it arrived like that and I’m just noticing it, but we’ve only had it a couple weeks and it shouldn’t scratch that easy.
