This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. Love it! Needed a fan in our nursery but I wanted something with a little more character. You can’t even tell it’s a fan unless it’s on and you feel the air. And it can move some air! You can really feel it directly below the fixture but there’s a little movement all over the room, just not as strong. Great for a smaller room!
