I’ve owned this Beautyrest Plush Pillow Top Mattress for a while now, and it has completely changed the quality of my sleep. From the very first night, the mattress felt incredibly comfortable — soft and plush on top, but still supportive underneath. We have had this mattress for just a little while now and overall I’m really happy with it for the price. It expanded quickly after opening and surprisingly had no odor at all, which I was honestly expecting with a boxed mattress. The medium feel seems pretty accurate. It’s comfortable without feeling overly soft, and I haven’t been waking up sore or stiff. One thing I did notice is it has a little more bounce than I expected from a hybrid mattress, so if you prefer an extra still memory foam feel, that’s something to keep in mind. It also looks really nice once set up and gives the bed a much more updated feel. Wow! I just LOVE this mattress; it is so plush and comfortable! If you are looking for medium firmness in a mattress, I would not recommend this one, but if you like soft and plush mattresses this one is a must have. I had been sleeping on a "medium" traditional mattress that felt too hard for my liking and it was on the higher side of the pricing scale, one of those specialty stores where you meet with the sales person and the mattress is manufactured bases on your preferences; needless to say, that did not work for me, I never liked the mattress, never felt rested and it was not cozy and welcoming. We also went a “size up” and moved from a queen to a king size and it is perfect. The cooling gel memory does keep the mattress from feeling warm under the skin, I would not say it feels cool, but it certainly does not get hot as you lay on it which is a huge plus because I run hot!
