These work very well for preserving food. I have used them for vegetables, sliced meat , and a roast. They send you little plastic domes with the kit , I initially couldn't determine what these were for. The small size was smaller than I had thought. The large was way larger. I should have read the information better but got confused on the site as to what I ordered . First I thought I was ordering a small, medium and a large not 2 small and a large. The sizes ended up being not all that useful to me. I did get a medium as a gift and that was way more usable. I purchased this can a few years ago to store dry dog food. It is the perfect size and I love the touch top feature. The price was good as well. The spring on the lid broke recently and I am having trouble locating a new can. I just reached out to customer service to see if I can get a replacement lid. Waiting to hear back.
