In most respects, the bench is just what I needed. The one negative issue is that the whole assembly flexes from side-to-side. I fixed this by bolting a cross member between the ends to keep them evenly spaced top-to-bottom. Then I added a stiff diagonal brace to prevent racking. Purchased these to use in children’s education rooms at church, to replace non-folding adjustable tables that were also very heavy. These seem to fit our requirements - lightweight and adjustable: one person can adjust and fold legs and carry to different location.
