I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one. It fits into the corner, so it doesn’t take over your space, but still gives you enough room to stretch and settle in. At 67 inches, it feels comfortable without being too large. The corner setup works well, especially if you’re trying to keep the rest of the bathroom open. Since it’s a freestanding acrylic bathtub, it’s not too heavy to manage during installation. The surface also feels smooth and doesn’t give that cold shock when you first step in. The whirlpool system comes with 9 jets. They don’t feel too strong, but they move the water enough to help your body loosen up after a long day. You can just sit back and let it run without needing to adjust things again and again. It also holds up to 70 gallons, which gives you a proper soak. You don’t feel like you’re sitting in shallow water. The left-side drain makes it easier to match with certain bathroom layouts, so placement feels more practical. There’s also built-in lighting.
