This is a great range hood fan and I researched many many different ones before coming across this one. It's actually a Canadian company but the actual company was out of stock . Wayfair was as well but their back order came in pretty quickly. The hood is gorgeous with everything I wanted it to have ( 4 lights, not just 2 and they're DIMMABLE!!), 2 simple dials; one for lights and one for fan speed ( no ugly black electronic panel with yet another clock..lol) and it's pretty quiet, even on the highest speed which is a powerful 750 cfm. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. The Broan 41000 non-ducted range hood provides effective filtration, high quality and value. This under the cabinet hood includes a removable combination grease-charcoal filter for cleaner indoor exhaust recirculation. The motor is permanently lubricated and designed for years of trouble free service. Separate rocker switches control the light and 2-speed fan.

This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. The width was slightly off with my measurements so I had to readjust several times to make sure the gap on each was as even as possible. Other than that so far so good.. Anonymous. Fri Feb 06 2026
