We have 10’ ceilings in our home so I looked for a fan that would push enough air during the hotter months. What attracted me to this fan is the 13” pitch on the blades. We live in the low desert and the heat during summer can be relentless, reaching highs of 120 degrees. I bought this fan for my office which is appx. 15x20 and it’s the perfect size. Air movement fills each corner of the room on a low speed. This fan and thermal blackout curtains are sure to keep us cool in the summertime. The fan is a Hunter fan. Need I say more High quality, sturdy, easy to assemble and silent is what you get with this fan. I’m a person who enjoys the sound of the fan at night. It puts me to sleep. This fan is truly very quiet but I don’t mind. We ordered the fresh white. The other side of the blade is a light oak. Pretty but didn’t match our decor so we stuck with the white blades.
