While Wayfair offers a wide variety of beautiful products, I have found that many of them are not very durable and do not justify their high prices. In fact, I have noticed that the price of this chair has increased dramatically—sometimes double or even triple—without any clear reason, and it simply is not worth it. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet. The chair is comfortable and looks elegant at first, but the quality is very poor. I purchased it about nine months ago, and I am still paying off the furniture I bought from Wayfair, including a dining table, TV stand, dining chairs, sofa, accent chairs, rug, and other items. While Wayfair offers a wide variety of beautiful products, I have found that many of them are not very durable and do not justify their high prices. In fact, I have noticed that the price of this chair has increased dramatically—sometimes double or even triple—without any clear reason, and it simply is not worth it.
