Installation was relatively easy, fan runs very quiet. The remote control seems a bit temperamental, it doesn't always respond to the first push of a selected button. At times, I had to hold the remote up high pointing it directly at the top of the fan to get it to run on high speed. Also does not always want to shut off the lights in the first couple clicks.. Beautiful fan. Quiet. Fully variable fan speed and light. There is a control box that they want you to bury up in the ceiling control box. It came with a 3 foot drop pole, which I used, because I think it looks nice like that. It runs very smoothly, and most importantly, it runs quietly.
