Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Don’t purchase!!! I had this delivered on 8/27/2023, I had it installed on the same day. 2 weeks later it does not work. The lights don’t turn on and the hood blower does not turn on. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl.
