Prior to getting this lift he was constantly falling and the fire department was making visits several times per week to our home to lift him. This equipment has made a change in our life. This chair fits the bill. It was easy to snap together to assemble. Small enough to easily drive through the halls of my senior living complex. My reason for the 4 versus 5 rating is that there is no easy way to find out where or who handles repairs and how I would get the chair to them. After assembly it will not fit back in the box.
