I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. I’m so excited for this sink to be up and running. We are having new countertops installed in a few days and they will be doing all the installation. This sink is beautiful. The bowls are very deep and that stainless steel is sleek. I love that the bowls are squared and not the normal rounded out corners. It will be such a different look than the dated builder grade sink we have now. Everything but the faucet is included and it comes with a drying rack and a cutting board.
