I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. This is a very nice office chair mat to protect my hardwood floor. I used to buy the see-through plastic mats for the chair to roll around on, but decided to try Wayfair's suggestion in regards to this type of mat. I'm glad I did. I am using this on an LVP floor. The problem has always been that mats don't stick to this flooring. This mat moves a little, but is much better than anything else I have tried.
