I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. It's a chair mat, and it does the job of keeping my desk chair from ripping up the carpet in my home office. I bought this in 2023, and it's still doing great. I remember that it arrived rolled up, and it took at least a full day for me to get it to flatten out, placing it under my flat-bottomed coffee table and pressing the corners with heavy books, so be mindful of that..
