I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. Purchased this for our front entryway. It's an attractive mat. When I selected it online, I thought the dots in between the diamond patterns were just white painted rubber, but they are in fact metal-backed crystal rivets. The only issue I had was the mat came with a missing rivet, but overall, the quality is nice. Have not placed it outside yet, since our current mat is fused down with ice and snow.
