Were remodeling a house and the original air conditioning system was slightly undersized both in the kitchenutility and the living room. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. Lightweight, wireless capability and simple to use. My only bug bear is the user manual is not quite detailed enough. I wish still photo projection did not default to slideshow mode.
