Works for my gaming computer. For a lower cost item with a three leg supported top shelf, the quality is about what you'd expect; not terrible, but not robust. Fairly easy to put together, however you may need to get a start on the screws into the designated spots before trying to secure the hardware; there's limited space for the screwdriver and the holes aren't pre-drilled, so you'll want to get the screw to bite into the board for easy assembly. Bought this to mount a PC that I can pull up to a chair, I made some adaptations. I flipped the part for the PC tower to the front, connected the keyboard holder instead, and removed the upper one for the keyboard. This review is for the mahogany 19.7" x 28" x 16.3" version of the product. The size of the platform is perfect for my 1 extra wide monitor. The standing height is sufficient for me (I am 5' 7" tall). The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with).
