The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. I have had a single hose style before and it seemed to really make it humid. This one cools it nicely is quiet and doesn’t put off the humid air. It actually dehumidifies the camper and has a nice drain house I ran out the bottom. I also really like the swing feature to help move the air around in the camper. Being it’s summer I haven’t tried out the heater portion of this but excited to have an all in one unit.
