A few things, If your tower is 17in without the tower feet, it will not fit against the L bracket. The L bracket should be adjustable to accommodate at least slight shorter towers, it only adjusts to the length of the tower. The base it sits on, should be vented or a mesh to help with air flow. Lastly, the mounting bracket should detachable to make it more manageable to actually mount it. It took a lot of tightening to get the arm to not slowly go down from the weight of the monitors, but it finally got there and I'm really happy with this product! I wish the monitors were able to flex in and out instead of just up and down, but the number of pivot points in this whole contraption is sufficient.
