The LEDefense light looks cool and it seems to really work well too. I have put a lot of garlic through it and the light seems to have kept any odor from that at bay. this item was purchased for a new install. Meaning there was no other disposal it was replacing. It was super easy and is so amazingly quiet, which is awesome due to the open style floor plan. It will never drown out anyone's TV program! It's slim so it will fit in even the smallest space! I really couldn't beat the price of this item on wayfarer either! pretty much half the price of the next lowest retailer! I also bought the air button to go with it!
