This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out.
