The space-saving direct vent furnace design mounts to an exterior wall and the adjustable vent assembly adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2 inches to 10 inches thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside, away from all contact with room air. Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat, in continuous circulation, is delivered into the room. Windows and doors stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. The DVA30L direct vent propane wall furnace is designed to heat up to 425 Sq. Ft. and has a 25,000 BTU input.

Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. The space-saving direct vent furnace design mounts to an exterior wall, and the adjustable vent assembly fits walls from 4-1/2 inches to 10 inches thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside, away from all contact with room air. Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent, and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat in continuous circulation is delivered into the room. Windows and doors stay closed because no room air is used for combustion.
