It has a lot of parts, so be prepared to dedicate time to that and it takes a couple of hours for the assembly when doing it all alone. The fact that there were no gliders for the drawers is a bit disappointing, because they just hang when pulled out. The original desk I received had some scratches on a couple of parts and the wooden dovels provided to connect the desk top were fragile and broke during the assembly. Reached out to Wayfair support with the part number needed to replace the damage and they were so understanding and supportive enough to provide a new free replacement and told me to dispose off the original desk that was no longer functional. My goodness! What a great piece of furniture! Exactly what I wanted to match an inherited set. Packaging and instructions were outstanding. Even though instructions states “requires two people for an hour assembly”, it took me four hours. I took my time, of course, while listening to music and having a few brews. Make sure you verify the number of panels and fittings as directed before attempting by yourself. Also, place a drop cloth or blanket on floor as they recommend.
