My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. The Flexible Spa Panel will fit spas that are less than 96″ x 96″ (or 32′) in total length and with a panel height of less than 34.5″. The Flexible Spa Panel can be installed right over your existing skirting! If you choose to remove the skirting, some additional framework will be necessary to reinforce where the panels overlap. The panels have a built-in overlap design, which makes installation easier. To continue access to the spa's equipment panel, we include flange pieces for an access door. More information is provided in our instructions manual. The panels ship in a single carton in 5 separate rolls, with color-matched screws included. The installer will need a circular saw, a string, measuring tape, a drill, and a pencil.
