Assembly took me 45 minutes by myself - Phillips screwdriver required. Once assembled, this thing is massive, despite the “folding” feature. Don’t think you are going to hide this in a corner. There is no hiding this thing, even when folded. The footprint doesn’t fold, so matter what, this thing is taking up the same floor space. All that said, it does provide flat drying surfaces for sweaters or lay flat items, which is why I bought it. It will definitely do the job I purchased it for. The dryer is great. Im handy, so it was very easy to hook up. The delivery was a different story. We were given a delivery day of Tuesday, then it changed to Monday between 7 AM and 7 PM. My wife called at 930 Monday to narrow down the window, and was eventually told they didnt even have it at the delivery center. Then he checked and found it had just arrived, but it was too late to get it on a truck. Problem was, we took Monday off to receive it and hook it up. He said they could deliver Wednesday, between 7 AM and 11 AM, with a call 30 min. before delivery. They called at 6 AM, and delivered at 645 AM. But, we have the dryer, so all is good. The delivery crew from Glen Ellyn Moving and Storage were great, quick,efficient and polite. Looks like it will be fun to use! Its attractive, bristles, pad surfaces etc are sturdy or soft enough to do the job propertly. I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it should come with a case or bag with compartments.
