Slightly better quality that I expected, but I hadn’t thought about the balance of it. We use it for our boots around the property and once it’s out of balance (one pair) it topples over. This is the best shoe rack!!! It’s so easy to put together - it comes in about 5 pieces and doesn’t take more than 5-10 min to assemble. It’s packed really well. The solid wood legs have a mid-century feel. This can be used with the thick mat inserts, or without them as a plastic shoe tray. The double tier indoor boot tray is everything! I got the larger size and it can fit about 6 pairs of shoes (women’s sz 10). The materials are high quality and the color is amazing (I chose black). The cabinet fit exactly where I wanted it to and does exactly what I want it to do - good things! It had been very, very difficult to find exactly what I wanted. It seems sturdy and took a couple of hours to put together. It does not look expensive or luxurious. There are stickers to cover nail holes, and the wood is thin and inexpensive looking when you look closely. However, it does look pretty good if you don't look too closely, and it absolutely works I think you're getting what you're paying for, and after hours searching over many days, I'm glad to have found something that works!.
