This would make it so you can have it warm during cold morning hours but then auto shut off as the day gets warmer. The temp stays the same all day. Granted, pups don’t HAVE to go in, but would be nice to have that option. We may end up not using the heating source and drilling a hole in the back so we can out our own adjustable pad in there. Great, sturdy house that gets plenty warm for the pups. Fits our two dogs well with extra room chiweenie and terrier. It would get 5 stars, but there are two things I would change. There is no onoff switch, so you have to plugunplug rather than flip a switch. Guess it only matters if dogs are indoors when you’re home. It would also be a great feature if one side of the roof had hinges to open from the top, which would make accessing the house much more convenient. The only way to clean the inside, if necessary, is to go through the small front entryway. Not very convenient or easy for someone who may not be able to get low to the ground.
