The louver or where the air discharges moves up and down if you'd like and being able to have it close when the unit is off is nice. This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. The dryer is great. Im handy, so it was very easy to hook up. The delivery was a different story. We were given a delivery day of Tuesday, then it changed to Monday between 7 AM and 7 PM. My wife called at 930 Monday to narrow down the window, and was eventually told they didnt even have it at the delivery center. Then he checked and found it had just arrived, but it was too late to get it on a truck. Problem was, we took Monday off to receive it and hook it up. He said they could deliver Wednesday, between 7 AM and 11 AM, with a call 30 min. before delivery. They called at 6 AM, and delivered at 645 AM. But, we have the dryer, so all is good. The delivery crew from Glen Ellyn Moving and Storage were great, quick,efficient and polite.
