it is a good quality of fabric and it is soft and "quiet". I don't like fabrics which make some noise when you move in it. It came nice packed. The only issue I have is that it is very little down inside that squares. the down move around and very often you have just two pieces of fabric. The 5.5 quart size was the size I was looking for things like chili, stews, soups, etc. I needed to buy new because I moved to a home with an induction cooktop. This is an expensive investment but after all the research (Reddit was the best source) I wanted guaranteed reliability and longevity. I measured my old large pot and this one correlated close. I personally think the largest size, the 8.9 would be too big for my daily use.
