It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! I LOVE this sink. I had purchased another sink from Wayfair for my kitchen remodel. However once the cabinets were installed I realized it was going to be wide front to back so I was on the search for a new one when I stumbled upon this beauty. Don’t let the 15” front to back fool you. This sink is incredibly roomy thanks to the generous length (33” side to side). I have since had a custom cutting board made for it. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. We used this sink in a recent remodel of a 1912 family farmhouse built by my great-grandfather. It was a great choice aesthetically, lending a clean, modern vibe while keeping the charm and tradition of a farmhouse sink. What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. This is an inspired and not your everyday under-mount kitchen sink with a unique shape. A large full bowl for maximum function, and large bakeware or cookware. It has a slight pitch to the bottom of the basin for superior drainage. The sink comes with an included bottom grid which helps water to run below dishes. It also includes our colander drain with it's a deeper basket for collecting food scraps and watertight lid.
