I was VERY pleased with the quality of this furniture. Other cabinets I have purchased only had a colored cardboard back. These had stained plywood backing. They supplied plenty of extra screws and nails. The instructions (only pictures, very little text) were easy to follow and helpful. All of the predrilled holes were properly aligned. Overall, this was excellent furniture at a reasonable price. Really solid with good craftsmanship and finish. Shelves on both side are removeable if you want a larger section. Drawers have a smooth action and seem like they are durable. Also comes with hardware to secure it to a wall to avoid tipping, although it feels very stable so it seems like it'd take a lot to make it fall. There was some assembly required, unlike what the description said. Nothing too intense, the knobs for the drawers and cabinets and the legs had to be screwed on. Took less than an hour, and a lot of that was just removing the packaging. This thing is really heavy though so to get the legs on, you'll need 2 people to tip it. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. There is not any wood slats on the front whatsoever, it came with no closet rack on the inside, and all of the corners were beat up. The fake wood slats on the outside are actually just a vinyl that is painted or printed cheaply and looks really bad, it has a plastic looking shine to it. Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. I do like how the cabinets look. The doors have a soft close, but the drawers do not. Out of the four boxes, one box arrived four days later and it had damaged pieces. The customer service was able to replace the pieces, however, they also arrived four days after they said they would get here. Even the replacement pieces had damaged corners, but they were usable. We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it!
