Everything worked out well! We used this kit as sliding door instead of poker door. We covered the hardware part with wood and paint so that hardware won’t expose and it doesn’t look like a farmhouse which our house is not like that. In the original box, a set of wheels was missing. Tracks from 9 feet to 16 feet will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18 feet and 20 feet will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 220 lbs. Usually, we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide, You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least a 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from the top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

Pre-install Notice: Only the hardware is for sale, doors are not included. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send Homacer a message asking for bolts specifically for concrete walls. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden walls or drywall. Homacer sliding barn door hardware kit is compatible with door thickness. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact Homacer for the correct length of the hex bolts of the hangers, or you can get them from your local hardware store. Please also notify Homacer to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the hardware to the header board. From the top of the door to the ceiling, you need to have clearance for u shape bracket bypass hardware. All tracks that are under coming in one piece. All tracks that are above are connected by two tracks using a junction plate.
