Everything worked out well! We used this kit as sliding door instead of poker door. We covered the hardware part with wood and paint so that hardware won’t expose and it doesn’t look like a farmhouse which our house is not like that. In the original box, a set of wheels was missing. It is rustproof, waterproof, and fireproof. The standard door thickness for our hardware is 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab, "Customization Services," for more detailed instructions on how to customize it. The spacing between each hole is American Standard 16''. Tracks 8 feet and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. Tracks from 9 feet to 16 feet will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18 feet and 20 feet will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 220 lbs. Usually, we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide, You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least a 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from the top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

This was the only hardware I could fine with a solid rail. The kit arrived well packaged and I am impressed with the overall quality of materials and the instructions. The rail is solid, and the mouning hardware is really well designed, with adjustable spacers depending on your configuration. I did not want the metal straps on the front of the door, so I opted for the top mount configuration. I outsmarted myself and added another 1/4" to the recommended height, and I should not have done that. Use the 2" rail stops from the top of the door and you will be fine, even if you are installing over a carpet floor, like I was. I also wound up trimming the rail because I have a perpendicular wall next tot he door. I used a small hack saw, which worked OK, but it took some time and effort. Perhaps a circular grinder would have been better. Regardless, it worked out fine and looks great. I definitely recommend this hardware if you are haning a barn door.. Robert. San Diego, CA. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send Homacer a message asking for bolts specifically for concrete walls. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden walls or drywall. Homer sliding barn door hardware kit is compatible with door thickness. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact Homacer for the correct length of the hex bolts of the hangers, or you can get them from your local hardware store. Please also notify Homacer to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the hardware to the header board. From the top of the door to the ceiling, you need to have clearance for u shape bracket bypass hardware. All tracks that are under coming in one piece. All tracks that are above are connected by two tracks using a junction plate.

The package includes all the barn door and hardware kit you need to install a sliding barn door. The barn door hardware kit can be used both inside and outside. This door requires two people to assemble, it is not a traditional one-piece barn door. Pilot holes on the door are all pre-drilled and cut. The wooden panels can junction with each other for a tight fit. It is an unfinished barn door, you can easily paint it as you wish. Please leave the door dry for at least 24 hours. The barn door will work perfectly with our sliding hardware kit and door handles. The bottom of the door had a pre-cut groove to fit with the floor guide, preventing the door from swinging back and forth.

Is there a way to get touch up paint there were a lot of white spots on door. Came prepainted but the spots very noticeably missed otherwise I love the door worked well in my kitchen. Also had a few deep gouges upon arrival on few of the outer pieces tried to hide them. Will need to putty them and repaint. Sorry on its side hasn’t hung yet.. Jc. CT. Sun Feb 19 2023

Only the hardware is for sale, doors are not included. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden wall/drywall. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send us a message asking for specialized bolts. Their product is compatible with a door. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact us for the correct length of the bolts for the hangers. Please notify us to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board. You need to have at least 6" of space between the top of the door to the ceiling to accommodate the hardware. They use two hangers to hold one door. For a single door kit, there will be two hangers in the package. For a double door kit, there will be four hangers. If you have a door that is either too wide or too heavy, then you can purchase addition hangers for that door.

Please also notify Homacer to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the hardware to the header board. From the top of the door to the ceiling, you need to have clearance for u-shaped bracket bypass hardware. All tracks that are undercoming in one piece. All tracks that are above are connected by two tracks using a junction plate.
