We LOVE our new bar stools! We bought a new house with a really high counter and it needed stools. Our counter is 47 inches tall and we bought the 36 inch stools. At first, I was thinking they were too high, but after we got used to it, we are comfortable eating in this arrangement. I still would probably take two inches off if I could but my husband and I use them for every meal. We also bought a new dining set but we’ve only used it when we have visitors. Very solid, easy to attach seat to the base. They are very attractive stools. The only thing I’m not a fan of, and the reason I’m knocking stars off, is that the way the seats were constructed doesn’t match on the two stools I ordered. The wood on one stool is made of 2 inch pieces of wood and the other of 3 inch pieces. This makes the seats look quite different IMO. I’m not sure what exchanging them would result in... Ashley.
