I needed a light fixture for a client's library renovation. Something masculine and substantial, that blended black and gold. Even though I had sufficient height in the room, I wanted to avoid a chandelier because it might feel too feminie. The Minka Chateau Nobles semi-flush mount perfectly fit my requirements.
