I couldn’t be more satisfied with this purchase. The wood is sturdy, and its finish pairs well with my hardwood floors. I found no scratches on any of the surfaces. This applies to the accompanying nightstand and dresser (not pictured). Although I assembled this myself, I recommend doing so with two people.
