When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. This door worked great for my space. It's solid and beautiful. I used it as a half door for a tub enclosure for a bathroom remodel I did. It works great. The contractors were concerned about too much water spraying out from the open end, but it actually works fine. The only reason why I give this a 4 star is because I'm still not sure that it's as easy to clean as advertised. This is supposed to be special glass that makes it super easy to clean from scum.
