Difficult to assemble. Some predrilled holes did not lineup properly. Backrest section did not fit properly into the 2 sidearm rest sections. Lovely, well made bench. I like that the back is slightly curved which is great for lumbar support. I wish the depth of the seat was a little bit greater. From back to front it measures 17.5 inches, which feels a little shallow even for me at 5'4" tall. I also wish the back was leaned back at a slight angle versus being straight up & down. First, let me say that working with Wayfair is great, even when there's a shipping glitch. So I'll start from the beginning, in April of 2021 we purchased 4 of the Polywood Vineyard Curveback Adirondack chairs in slate gray. After a party in May, my wife and I realized that a bench would be the final touch to our patio. I went online and found the Polywood Vineyard bench, but it was out of stock and wouldn't be available until late November. We chose to wait on it so that our furniture would match. Much to our surprise, we received an email in late July that our bench was on the way. When we received our (large and heavy) package, we were so disappointed that it had been damaged in shipping. I called Wayfair, sent in pictures of the damage and they said they would send another bench. Ten days later we received our new bench, undamaged. My wife is happy now. Happy wife, happy life! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.
