I selected this enclosure in order to fit my cat's Tidy Cats Breeze XL litter box & the best area in my small apt. it can reside. All of the other cat box enclosures (I got tired of looking) are smaller. I would give it 5 stars if it were a bit taller & had a bigger side entrance. You may want to enlarge the cat entry prior to assembling, if you're using a larger litter box. Both my cats are excavators, and the male is also a high peer (as in, he pees really high), so it's either a big pile of litter at the entrance or urine coming out of the seams, or both. I'm on my fourth litter box in the less than ten months I have been living in this apartment. I found this one after much research, and so far so good. The entrance is high enough that not a lot of litter gets dragged out, yet low enough so my fat female tripod can manage it without effort. And there are no seams for urine to come out. My cat and I absolutely love this box! He is a 15 lbs boy so he needs his box to be large, especially because he's a "long" kitty rather than a chubby one. This one now is his favorite box and I think the reason is because it's open-top. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to see his business while walking past it, and that it would be so stinky because it's open. But after a month of testing it, it actually isn't bad at all. The stainless steel doesn't trap oders almost at all! Once I clean his mess, it's completely gone. No scratched floor, no plastic that holds on to any stinky smell, and it doesn't stain at all. Cleaning it is a breeze and nothing sticks to the bottom that requires scraping. Also I was worried that urine would leak out from the area where the top half connects with the base bin, but so far no issues. Unless your kitty sprays too high, I’m thinking this should work perfectly. It comes with its own scoop that can be hung to the side wall of the box as shown in the picture (although it isn't my preferred scooper as I like metal ones better).
