For small/light dogs, I think this would probably work well, but I had wanted a little assist for one of my medical fosters who was heavier (30 lbs). Each step is 19.7 x 28.7 x 16.1 in.Our dog stairs are excellent for those older dogs who are less mobile as they age or for cats with injuries. More wide and deep steps are helpful for reducing the strain that constantly jumping up and down onto bed, sofa or car can have on your pet's joints,and Topmart dog steps will not shake and slip during use. The product made from 25d sponge and suede is more frictional and comfortable than other covers, pets will not slip on the stairs.

I think the lightness of these stairs is their best feature. I can move it around easily and when Ive tripped over it, no pain. My previous cat stairs were carpet-covered wooden stairs, so very heavy and painful to kick by accident. However, these stairs took forever to arrive. Initially, instead I got a wrought iron patio set that weighed almost 100 lbs and it was my responsibility to get it returned! Its now very difficult to get a human rep on the phone, so I thought Id never get this fixed Please Wayfair, your human representatives are one of the main reasons I loved the company. The AI is a nightmare. It took me over three weeks to get these steps, while I had a sick cat with kidney disease. No one cared because I couldnt speak with a person.
