Use the Allen key that looks like a wine bottle opener! These chairs are beautiful, sturdy and very comfortable, but they take a few hours to put together. The first chair took me forever to assemble, but I used it as a learning experience. I learned that I could have saved myself a ton of time if I had used the provided allen key with the red top (looks like a wine bottle opener), instead of the conventional one that was also provided. I also learned that I needed help from someone else for a few stages in the process because it saves a lot of time. Things went a lot smoother and faster when I put together the second chair. I had been looking for a small outdoor set and came across these chairs (table sold separately). They seemed like they’d be perfect for the space I had in mind. I wasn’t expecting much, since I didn’t need anything elaborate, but I was genuinely surprised by the quality and weight of this set. The chairs are made from HDPE, which is known for being durable, long‑lasting, and able to withstand outdoor weather. Since the spot I’m using is under my deck and gets wet when it rains, this material is ideal. The seat width is substantial, and the chairs are quite comfortable. I’m very satisfied with them.
