I love that the back has an invisible zipper and the piping is perfect. The material is thick, but soft enough to mold. Some have stated that the material is scratchy and not soft, I can understand why they would say that, but after stream ironing, it was very smooth and much softer. The sand color to me is more of a taupe and a bit darker than a typical sand color but it was exactly what I wanted. My lighting is daylightbright white for reference. From the moment I unboxed this quilt, I could feel its quality. The fabric is sturdy, the quilting and seaming is well done with strong thread, and while it isn't what I would call heavy, it is certainly warm enough! Last night was our first night with it on the bed. My husband typically wants two blankets, but I sleep very hot and almost always sleep with only a sheet over me. But somehow, this quilt suits us both perfectly in the amount of warmth it provides. Now let's talk about its visual appeal. I have two-toned walls, the bottom 2/3 of which is a very deep, saturated teal blue and the top 1/3 is a lovely greige. I have smokey rust colored accents in the bedroom and en suite bath. This quilt ties in all my colors! And even though it has the super-deep blues and blacks, it still brightens up the room. It is called "Rustic Lodge Southwestern Boho" and I couldn't think of a better description. It could easily be used in any of these decor styles.
