DO NOT BUY! This item is not only horrendously poor quality, but it also has almost nothing in common with the item description. The item description claims it is made “entirely of solid hornwood,” but it is particle board and cardboard. The “elegant woven panels” are a burlap sack stapled to another piece of particle board. The dimensions aren’t even close to the website — the item itself is about 30% larger than the reported dimensions. In some of the photos, it appears that the bookcase is open in the back on the upper part, but it is not, and it can't be assembled in a way to keep the back open. The hardware is laughably poor quality. The instructions were in Turkish. Once assembled, the item was so flimsy that it sagged and swayed, and would not have withstood being moved to a different spot in the same room. I’ve assembled a lot of furniture in my life, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I’m still shocked about the entire experience, especially considering the price.. Anonymous. The ExtremeAIR 42” range hood arrived quickly. We unboxed it from very good packaging, because the shipping box was obviously crumpled on the corner. Hood was in perfect shape. Very sturdily made. We plugged it in, tried the remote and we are delighted with the power it has. Not as loud as I thought it might be on highest setting. I’d expect some noise at 900 CFM. Lights are placed near the front corners to see what you’re cooking. They are only On or Off, no dimmer or night light-the only thing I might say would be an upgrade. My husband said the hanging plate for attachment is adequate for such a heavy unit, but you need to have solid wood for those screws to hang it. Not a problem here. There is no pipe for the vent, only the baffle and decorative cover for the chimney. You will need to buy pipe and elbow if I going through the wall. Works beautifully! Very pleased!. Darra.
