This is a nice rug, It is a light gray marble effect, it's pretty. It came well packaged - rolled and wrapped in plastic with extra protection on the ends to save from scuffing. I took a star because I'm still waiting for a few small ripples to fall out and lay flat and it's been a month, and also because it did smell fairly strong of chemicals for a couple weeks and still when my dog lays on it she smells like the rug a bit. This is a nice rug, It is a light gray marble effect, it's pretty. It came well packaged - rolled and wrapped in plastic with extra protection on the ends to save from scuffing. I took a star because I'm still waiting for a few small ripples to fall out and lay flat and it's been a month, and also because it did smell fairly strong of chemicals for a couple weeks and still when my dog lays on it she smells like the rug a bit. This rug is even more beautiful in person and the one I chose is a blend of off-white, beige and brown. The zig-zag pattern combined with the high-low texture is rich and looks expensive. It's much more cushiony and softer underfoot than I thought it might be. I'm not using a rug pad, and it stays in place, but it's lightweight and does slide easily if you push or pull it with your hands, so you might need a pad with a smaller size of this rug.. Barbara.
