We haven’t installed this address plaque yet, but I wanted to leave an initial review because my first impression has been excellent. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the weight. This is a substantial, solid piece—not thin, flimsy metal that flexes when you pick it up. It immediately feels like something that’s built to last. The finish is beautiful, too. The black background has a lightly textured look that gives it character, and the gold numbers stand out nicely without looking overly bright or cheap. The Art Deco-inspired design was exactly what I was hoping for. It’s elegant, unique, and has just enough detail to make it interesting without feeling busy. We wanted something that looked timeless rather than trendy, and this checks every box. It looks much more expensive than it actually was. The packaging also deserves a mention. The plaque arrived well protected with a removable protective film over the front to prevent scratches during shipping. Ours arrived in perfect condition with no dents, chips, or flaws in the finish. Mounting hardware was included, which is always appreciated. We’re in the middle of updating the exterior of our home, and this was one of the finishing touches we were excited about. Based on the quality we’ve seen so far, I have every reason to believe it’s going to look fantastic once it’s installed. If anything changes after it’s been outside through a Michigan winter, I’ll gladly update my review. But based on the craftsmanship, finish, weight, and overall appearance right out of the box, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it. Good heavy-duty iron. Easy to fill with water and heats up quickly, however the temperature button is in an odd place and my hand kept hitting it while ironing, changing the temperature constantly, so that is a little annoying.
